FSR Development Program

The FSR Development program is a three-tiered training program designed specifically for Financial Service Representatives working in the credit union system.

Launched in 2016, tier one of the FSR Development program covers everything an FSR needs to know in their first three to nine months on the job.
New the final module of the FSR Start Series is now available: Reading and Interpreting Financial Statements

TIER TWO *Coming in 2017*
Tier two focuses on developing the applied skills of FSRs during their second year on the job.
New Receive a Certificate of Completion upon completion of Tier 1 and Tier 2, issued by Cusource Professional Development and Education

TIER THREE *Coming in 2018*
An accreditation option will be introduced for those wishing to advance to this level. It will be offered in partnership with Dalhousie University.

CUIC exam admission tickets

We have introduced a new process for sending out CUIC exam admission tickets that will make it impossible for learners to lose them. Each person registered to write an exam now gets an admission ticket emailed to them, and at the same time, this ticket is filed in his or her Messages folder on the Learning Gateway. CASL Webinar: Fourth date added
Our third CASL Webinar CASL Compliance - Be Ready for July 1, 2017 has SOLD OUT and we have added a fourth date to accommodate the overwhelming demand. Participants will receive key strategies for a CASL compliance program that can help avoid a CASL breach and a potentially serious fine. Participants will also hear about resources and tools available from the CCUA that can help them with their own CASL compliance initiatives. Space is limited to allow discussion with the facilitator.

Canada Job Grant - Access up to $10,000
The Canada Job Grant, an employer-driven program funded by the federal and provincial governments, covers up to $10,000 per person toward the cost of professional training for employees. To qualify, training programs must be provided by eligible third-party trainers and can take place in a variety of settings, including classroom, workplace or online. Credit unions can use the Canada Job Grant to covered Cusource® training programs, tuition, learning materials and examination fees.
